HTML for Babies is the perfect board book for babies that want to chew on codes before becoming familiar with a keyboard . According to the author, web designer John Vanden-Heuvel, it’s never too early to be standards compliant. And look at it this way – a thorough understanding of HTML is akin to speaking a second language.
Whether or not your bub will be able to put their next blog post in bold, centred italics after reading this book is questionable. However, from a purely aesthetic point of view, HTML for Babies is nice to look at – bright clear shapes, lots of white space and a good, solid page, just right for chewing!

And if HTML for Babies is all a little too basic for your bub, check out CSS for Babies – by the time they’re two, their blog will be well and truly in order.
HTML for Babies and CSS for Babiesare US$9.99 each and are available from Think Geek, which ships to Australia. Check out our previous posts on geeky baby gifts, as well as other board books that are really written for parents.
